Coming off of 3 weeks in Northern Italy, I wanted a meal that I believed would be comparable in terms of taste and quality. What I received could easily contend for top honors. The Winter Cabbage salad was like no other. The Butternut Squash Ravioli was full of complex flavors. Being advised to add the toasted bread to capture the remainig sauce just nailed it. While the meal was fabulous, the star was my server/bartender, Daily (spelling may not be accurate). She made my visit memorable and one that I will cherish. Her hospitality and attention to delivering an elevated dining experience was unique and beyond impressive. Marco - if you are listening...this is your star!

Burrata- peaches were not super sweet! Worked well- yum Mushroom pasta- 10/10 Steak- medium 10/10 Margarita pizza- 1000/10 Tiramasu- 10/10 This place is delicious! They take reservations but may be out day of on the weekend- plenty of bar seating! We came in around 8 and didn't have to wait for the bar! Hope to be back soon!

Office holiday party group of 12, table was ready upon arrival with reservation. Staff was professional with great recommendations; the food was outstanding, you can certainly tell the chef takes pride in his work

This restaurant is the best authentic Italian restaurant in the city of Birmingham. The service was great and the food was impeccable. The owner made sure that we were satisfied with our meals and had such an awesome welcoming friendly attitude. The staff was very inviting and to think that we almost didn't enjoy this awesome place due to not making a reservation because we didn't know. The owner met us at the door and made it work for us by fitting us in and still seating us regardless of us not having a reservation. Marco was such a delight to conversate with and his personality is of a true Italian. He speaks what is the truth and that's one thing to love about an owner in the restaurant business. We're definitely coming back and the $60 tip on a $160 bill was definitely worth the lovely experience and the awesome food. If you're ever in the downtown Birmingham area give Le Fresca a try, trust me you won't regret it.

We came in for Valentine’s Day dinner and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The host was welcoming and accommodating, and the bartenders were friendly and attentive while we waited. Once seated, Mary Ann was outstanding her detailed menu descriptions really brought everything to life and made it easy to choose. She recommended the ragu, which was so meaty and savory absolutely incredible. I had the short rib risotto, and it was just as delicious. The food, drinks, and service were all top notch. It made for a really memorable night, and we’ll definitely be back.

The food at Le Fresca was absolutely incredible. The prosciutto stole the show for me: salty, delicate, and melt-in-your-mouth perfection. You could tell everything on the plate was made with intention and very fresh ingredients. What impressed me just as much as the food was the team. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by a gracious host, and the kindness didn’t stop there. The entire staff was not only welcoming but very knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list. Even though it was a busy night, the space never felt stuffy or rushed. Just vibrant and full of good energy! One of the highlights was seeing a bottle of wine my friend had discovered on her trip to Italy. That kind of detail speaks volumes. Between the atmosphere, the quality of the dishes, and the attentive staff, Le Fresca delivers a dining experience I’ll absolutely be returning for. Five stars across the board!!

Always perfection. The food is always delicious, beautifully prepared from fresh seasonal ingredients and artistically plated. Excellent wine choices and service that is exactly what it should be, efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful without ever feeling intrusive. Cozy interior and even excellent curb service.

Very fine dining, with excellent service and even better food. This place was highly recommended because as my friend said, this is the only pizza that does not give him indegestion because they use flour and tomatoes straight from Italy. With that recommendation,I thought it would be more of a pizza joint, but was pleasantly surprised at the ambiance and quality of service. I did not have reservations, so I ate at the bar, and it was very nice. The wine list is extensive, and the pizza was unexpectedly delicious. I only wish I had room for desert, but I did not. I'm sure it would have been amazing. Well worth the several trips around the block to find parking (I'm from out of town).

As someone with over 3.2 million Google views and consistently recognized in the top 10% of Italian restaurant reviewers, I don’t give five stars lightly. When Italian food is truly OUTSTANDING, I know it immediately. Le Fresca is that place! This was our second visit, and that alone says everything. We drove from Chicago to Birmingham, checked into our hotel, and went straight to Le Fresca before doing anything else. When a restaurant earns that kind of priority, it’s no longer just a stop — it’s a tradition. Marco and his team welcome you like family. The hospitality is genuine, warm, and personal. You feel the pride behind every dish and every drink, and it shows in both the experience and the execution. The food is exceptional: Fresh pasta crafted with care Pizza worthy of its “Best Pizza in Alabama” recognition by Food & Wine Classic Italian dishes made from proud family recipes One standout deserves special mention: the Little Neck Clams. The sauce was remarkable — and I mean remarkable. Deep, balanced, and unforgettable. The kind of dish where you make sure not a single drop is left behind. Be sure to pay attention to the off-menu items as well — that’s where some of the magic lives. Finish with the tiramisu (one of the best we’ve ever had anywhere), followed by limoncello or grappa for a perfect close. Le Fresca has become one of those rare places we plan our travels around. If I could give more than five stars, I would — and we’re already planning our return.
